Nadja Camichel has lived in Bern since her childhood, where she began her musical career in 2003 with studies at the College of the Arts. In 2008 she received a diploma in performance through her studies with Michel Bellavance at the Conservatoire La Chaux-de-Fonds, followed by a Masters program in Music Pedagogy at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Whilst undertaking her Masters,  Nadja deepened her passion for baroque performance on the baroque flute with Marc Hantaï.
Nadja is a freelance musician and an enthusiastic teacher.
As an orchestral musician she plays in various orchestras such as the Camerata Schweiz or the Biel Symphony Orchestra, as well as in diverse baroque orchestras such as the Capriccio Baroque Orchestra or the Freitagsakademie Bern.
She is also involved in wide range of chamber music projects, including with the baroque ensemble L’Estro Armonico, the organist Nadia Bacchetta, and the ensemble Zefirino.
