After having regularly crossed paths due to concert performances, they decided to form a wind quartet together in 2013.
As professional classical musicians, as well as enthusiastic teachers of their own instruments, they are motivated to make classical music accessible to all generations – and especially to children.

Five go off in a caravan
Musical theatre for children

The five musicians from the Zefirino wind ensemble accompany our five friends on their holiday adventure. What will they experience on their journey? Are there really kangaroos and donkeys in this circus? And if so, how do they sound? Our five friends have not only interesting interactions with the circus boy Nino and the tame kangaroo, but also meet a fierce clown and witness an exciting treasure hunt.
A show full of excitement, humour, adventure and music.

This musical adventure is performed by the wind ensemble Zefirino and by actor Adrian Kurmann,  and is taken from the story by Enid Blyton, with music from Saint-Saens’ “Le Carnaval des Animaux.”

This mediation has been performed since March 2015 in primary schools and is a part of the culture programme from Canton Bern.
